This project started with a simple question: how do you keep a real human performance, but place it inside a world that doesn’t exist? No AI can replace a great actor’s performance. But sometimes the world you want to place that actor in doesn’t exist, can’t be accessed, or simply makes no sense to shoot for real.

That’s why we developed Punctum Lightbridge — our own hybrid production pipeline for integrating real actors into CGI environments with the help of AI tools.

We shoot the performance for real, use AI to bridge live action and the digital environment, and rely on CGI for the control, consistency and product accuracy we need. This project is the first showcase of that pipeline — and something we see huge potential for across many future productions.
